The early years
Born in Chalon-sur-Saône, Maxence learned to swim at Triton Club Belleville and rose to national level — years of pool lanes, black lines and stopwatches that laid every foundation.
2021
During the Covid period, bike and run join the water. Since 2021 the progression has been real: his swimmer’s engine often brings him out of the water in front.
2023
6th in his age group at the 70.3 World Championship in Lahti, then a first win on the circuit at Ironman 70.3 Tangier. He joins Monte Carlo Triathlon to aim higher.
Today
A podium at Challenge Turku 2025 and new personal bests over 70.3: the progression continues over half and full distance, with the results to match.
Swim
1.9 km
of open-water swimming
It all starts in the water: the silence before the gun, then the whitewater. The swimmer’s arena — where Maxence often leads out.
Transition — water to road
Bike
90 km
of road and climbing
The road tilts up and the line becomes a mountain profile. Time to climb, manage the power, and save the legs for the run.
Transition — bike to stride
Run
21.1 km
to the line
All that is left: the stride, the heartbeat, and the light at the end — the half marathon that decides everything, all the way to the line.
